Jay Wilson bears that responsibility.ĭude the RMHA was litterally the forerunner of the modern trend to include micotransactions into full price games and design the game to facilitate using them. The RMAH was not the beginning or the end of anything noteworthy in Diablo's life, and even without it, vanilla launch D3 was a huge mess that people highly disliked for valid reasons. ![]() The Necromancer came too little too late because they have no idea what Diablo fans want, and it still sold well. There was nothing stopping them from pushing paid content out to one of the best selling PC games of all time. If Blizzard wanted to push more monetization into D3, they would have. I know not being able to trade at all is frustrating, but I wouldn't trade it back for the D3 AH ever. It greatly affected the core gameplay loop in a way many players would consider very negative. And that's to say nothing about the RMAH, which honestly made it even worse. Since cool loot is a pretty huge part of what makes Diablo fun, that totally sucked the fun out of the game for a lot of people. Even when a great item dropped, you'd find yourself wondering how much gold you could get for it. ![]() It was suddenly about finding the best way to farm the most amount of gold possible. The AH completely changed the focus of the game. It is better than not being able to trade at all (current system). Last updated at 14:00:17 UTC Weekly Help Desk RAGE Loot Thread Trade Thread
